Fruitful new years restitution

That's right! I finally have started and kept with a new years resolution!! About time eh?!  Any who, my resolution this year was to get fit and healthy.  Then I realized that I would never do that! I just accept myself and give up, so I changed it! My resolution is to be able to beat my "little" brother my the time I have to go back to school in September! This way I have a goal that I will stick with.  So I have been working on it and I have a routine(50 jumping jacks, 5 push ups, 20 crunches, 20 leg raises, 40 mountain climbers(20 each side), and a 30 second plank! I do it twice 3 times a day!), support, and also a great little tracker that makes sure my fluffy butt sticks with it!
Right now my ginger ass is sore but it will get better!! Will post results when there are some! <3

They Called Me Fat.

Hope your new years resolutions are working and that they keep doing so!

Wolves

I love wolves, all wolves!  Unlike most people I do not feel that wolves threaten life or ecological equilibrium. They are a wonderful symbol of nature and pure wilderness.  I was so happy to be able to go the Northern Lights Wolf Center in Golden and learn about the killings that had happened in Banff National Park and in Yellow Stone Park.  With all the negative hype surrounding wolves there are some who are endangered such as the red wolf.  This requires us to think not of simple how they are a "negative" effect they have on human existence and agriculture.  Wolves need to have protected lands and be protected from those who would harm them.

For more information about wolves you can go to the Norther Lights Wolf Center or to the World Wildlife Federation websites for information about wolves and how to help them!

I want to adopt a wolf as well as help and defend the wolves in my area!  I will hopefully be able to get a post up soon with more details on wolves and other endangered species!

         Blessings and love

Home

Today my home was hit with a 4.6 magnitude quake at was felt across the entire interior! Everyone is fine but it still reminds you of how much you love and care for everyone and how helpless you are to help them when your away!  Being at school and living in dorms really makes you think about homes and who you would want to live with, ect.  So here are some pics of what I want in a dream house!

New year

Well I havent posted in a while, and I'm sorry, but life has been way too hectic and I have had no time! Although I have thought of it but once again no time! Life though has been rough! Family fights, no money, bad grades and medical problems! yay for life!  But we had a nice family christmas with few presents and a great new year! we had the largest bonfire and the best fireworks in our little valley!!  that and of course getting lots of sleep!! :D

I have some great news though! Well for me that is! I now have a wiccan coffee group I attend!! and I have also downloaded 3 great wiccan books!
So now I have been studying some more and sleeping to try and regain my senses.

Things to try this month
so I'm now gonna try and practice and read something each month unrelated to school, and also some crafty things I would like to do!
- finish reading my current book
- ground myself
- meditate each week
- do a crayon canvas!

Well now off to find more cool things on pinterest and google making baskets!
Blessed Be,

Halloween/Shaman

So I have been away for a while, life and school seemed to attack me all at once this last month! As Halloween is tomorrow I thought I should post, also after going to the party in the penthouse last night, and talk about my thoughts on Halloween maybe.  My family has always done Halloween, maybe not as much as I would like but we have.  This year especially I was all gun-ho for Halloween but had no ability to do, being in dorms and all.  The best I got was decorating my door.  I was going to decorate my house for my mom but then time ran out at my last visit and my moms hurt now so that also went out my window!  But as I mentioned last night was party in the penthouse which is and on campus event with a "haunted house", dance party and free food!  The haunted house fell flat this year with their "Apocalypse zone" theme and what could only be called minimal effort.  The dance party was loud and crazy as always and that was about it! But the costumes are always my favorite!  I got to see Arthur Dent, The Doctor, 4 jedi plus chewie, and endless slew of the Halloween fav's!
Well that's all I got, so be safe tomorrow and have fun!

Life

So I had shut down this blog and thought I would never blog EVER because nothing great happens in my life that is worth sharing. I have read many blogs and have friends that blog and can't figure out how they do it?! Well I have now decided looking at my life that I really can blog, I just need to do it! I will now recap recent days of fun and hell.

So Thursday was a REALLY crappy day that ended up great then back to crap.  It started out by being really rainy, cold and just plain ugly! A couple girls in my class though had decided that we needed to get ice cream at this AMAZING little dairy farm right across the border.  I agreed so we went even though it was anti-ice cream weather.  Nothing super eventful about that except the amazing ice cream and what my lovely friend said when coming back to our beloved Canada.  We were asked what we had done across the line, ice cream, duh! and then were asked if we were bringing anything else back? Well our driver answers "Yes, CLASS"!! The wonders of a tiered, sugared mind!! As we laugh our asses off for the entire 20 min drive back to school for class, we walk into the building and down the stairs to the door to the nursing when when our driver announces that someone will have to open the door because her hand had ice cream all over it, to promptly respond with "Hey! I have a second hand!" This of course prompted a second onslaught of laughter that continued for the rest of the day!!  The laughs caused us to re-think if were actually bringing class back to Canada or if we were importing said class!! Resulting in "We don't have class, we import it!!"

As the laughs continued on and we went to our separate classes I went out to the store, bad idea right there.  After I was done I went out to leave and my car wouldn't start, go figure!  So I call and text everyone I know to get a rid and possible help, well no!! I got laughed at by my ohh so loving cousin, and denied by almost everyone except my super amazing uncle P! Well lets just say much anger, a new relay and $80 later the beloved piece of crap caravan now works!  Praise be to the Goddess for that!

As for the rest of the week it as been pretty uneventful and crowded with classes and homework.  Plus a "fun" art project called 'blind contour drawings'.  If you have every heard this term, good for you, if not it is essentially that you look at an object and draw it without looking at your paper!! Yea, hard!  but fun none the less cuz it brings those art majors down to the same level as the rest of us!!

Well that is life for now! Wishing you all a blessed weekend!
